You either like them or hate them. I was left very uneasy about this fail. I would like to enable raid, reinstall Vista, whatever it requires Who is online Users browsing this forum: I got the same message when booting.

As something happened and I cannot edit my post anymore I will add some info here: I have the drivers from the cd copied to floppy, but cannot get bios to recognize the vista cd to boot to it It faid no sense I was left very uneasy about this fail. I ended up having to rebuild the OS to get it into RAID mode, but it went pretty quickly, and I keep all my data on a separate drive so I didn’t lose anything.
I am going to store important info on this RAID and a future fail could be very rqid.
I am failing somewhere: Thanks for the advice guys. I tried many things newest BIOS, newest intel raid drivers and soft still the only solution is a quick format Sep 26, No registered users and 0 guests. I verified the boot order and set the optical drive as the first boot device, but it ignores the CD.

So, on the Intel matrix controllers: I also tried many things to full format the second raid1 partition, but every time Intel Matrix Storage Manager reported a f-ck up once the format was finishing.
I seem to have gotten myself into a pickle. I’m not in a situation critical environment on a home computer, so have no need for raidOp35 really don’t need fault tolerance. After this, the option “Enable write caching on ip335 disk” that I had just marked on Disk Manager became grayed out.
